Welcome to Multilingual Reception. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Service Description
Multilingual Reception provides AI-powered communication services for small businesses, including but not limited to:
- 24/7 multilingual AI voice answering in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
- Missed-call SMS text-back automation.
- Appointment capture and call summarization.
- SMS follow-up communication with callers.
- Optional add-ons such as Google review collection and calendar integration.
We provide communication infrastructure only. Service Provider's role is limited to capturing, transcribing, and forwarding customer communications between callers and our business clients.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have legal authority to enter into agreements on behalf of yourself or your business to use our services.
3. Service Plans and Billing
- Service plans are billed monthly in advance.
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
- Plan changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle unless otherwise specified.
- We may modify pricing with 30 days written notice.
- Cancellation requires 15 days notice prior to your next billing cycle.
4. Client Responsibilities
If you sign up as a business client using our AI receptionist service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate business information (hours, services, pricing).
- Maintain primary responsibility for your customer relationships, including complaint handling, refunds, and any clinical, legal, or professional decisions.
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding your industry, including but not limited to HIPAA (for healthcare), state bar requirements (for legal practices), and consumer protection laws.
- Obtain any required consents from your customers for SMS communication and call recording.
- Indemnify Multilingual Reception against claims arising from your business operations or interactions with your customers.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Send spam, unsolicited marketing, or fraudulent messages.
- Engage in harassment, threats, or illegal activity.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt our systems.
- Misrepresent our services or impersonate other businesses.
Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of service without refund.
6. SMS and Voice Communication Compliance
Our service relies on telephony providers (such as Twilio) and language model providers (such as Anthropic and ElevenLabs). All SMS and voice messages sent through our service are subject to:
- Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) compliance.
- A2P 10DLC registration requirements.
- CTIA messaging principles and best practices.
- Opt-in consent before any SMS is sent to a caller.
- Honoring STOP requests immediately and recording the opt-out.
7. Limitations of Service
Our AI receptionist is designed to assist with general customer communication. It is NOT:
- A licensed medical, dental, legal, or financial professional.
- Capable of providing medical, dental, legal, or financial advice.
- A substitute for licensed professionals or human staff for any decision requiring professional judgment.
- Designed to handle medical or other emergencies. Callers experiencing emergencies should be directed to 911.
You acknowledge that AI systems may occasionally produce errors. We are not liable for outcomes resulting from such errors.
8. Intellectual Property
All website content, code, design, branding, system prompts, and proprietary methods are the property of Multilingual Reception. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content without written permission.
You retain ownership of your business data, customer lists, and proprietary information shared with us during service delivery.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or specific business outcomes.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Multilingual Reception's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Multilingual Reception, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate the service relationship with 15 days written notice. Multilingual Reception may terminate immediately for violations of these Terms or non-payment.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in Marion County, Indiana.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
